1. Your assessments are based upon the budget developed by your Board of Directors. The Association’s operating budget will typically be modified on an annual basis by the Board of Directors, dependent upon present and future financial information.
2. Assessments are paid on a monthly basis and are due on the first of each month.
3. Prompt payment of the assessment is vital. The association relies on timely payments in order to pay its bills on time. Obligations of the association for such bills as the master insurance policy, garbage collection, and other vital services require timely cash flow! Monthly association fees are the income of the association. If you did not collect a salary at your job, you would not be able to pay your bills and live in your home. Without the monthly assessment fees, (like you without a salary), your association would not be able to operate. There are no hidden revenue generating sources. An association is by the people as well as for the people.
